Borderlands 4 (BL4): Zed's Meds Vending Machine Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Zed's Meds Vending Machines are the defensive gear vendors of Borderlands 4 — over 75 machines strategically placed near Boss arenas, Safehouses, Order Silos, and Order Bunkers across Kairos.

Every machine location is marked at exact coordinates on the Borderlands 4 interactive maps. While Zane's Munitions handles offensive weaponry, Zed's Meds covers every defensive and recovery item slot.

What Zed's Meds Vending Machines Sell

Every Zed's Meds machine stocks the same four item categories, purchasable with Money:

Class Mods — gear pieces that enhance a specific Vault Hunter's abilities, boosting key stats and modifying action skill behaviour. Class Mods are character-specific — only Mods for the active Vault Hunter appear in the shop.
Armor Shields — heavy defensive gear providing physical damage reduction. Damaged Armor Shields must be repaired in the field with Repkits.
Energy Shields — defensive barriers that absorb damage before health is affected and recharge automatically over time when not taking hits.
Repkits — consumable items that instantly restore health or repair Shields in the field. Repkits have a cooldown between uses, making their management a core part of survival on greater difficulties.

Stock rotates periodically — revisiting any machine after some time yields a different selection of the same four categories at higher or lower rarities.

The Cooldown Reset Mechanic

Since the October 30, 2025 patch, interacting with any Zed's Meds Vending Machine — or Zane's Munitions machine — resets all current Action Skill, Ordnance, and Repkit cooldowns instantly.

This makes every Zed's Meds machine a free cooldown reset point whenever one is within reach.

Before a Moxxi's Big Encore farming run, find the nearest Zed's Meds machine and interact with it to enter the boss fight with all cooldowns refreshed — even if no purchases are made.

Where Machines Are Placed

Zed's Meds Vending Machines follow a consistent placement logic across all four regions:

Before boss arenas — every major boss encounter has at least one Zed's Meds machine immediately before the boss drop-in point. All three Primordial Vaults carry machines at both the starting area and directly before the boss jump pad.

Inside Safehouses — every Fast Travel Station Safehouse contains at least one Zed's Meds machine alongside Zane's Munitions.

Inside Order Silos and Bunkers — many cleared facilities include a machine as part of their loot reward zone after the terminal is hacked or the Bunker boss is defeated.

During Main Missions — several machines are only accessible during specific story sequences, including three in Dissected Plateau during A Lot to Process and One Fell Swoop that disappear from reach after the mission concludes.

Area Distribution

Cuspid Climb has the highest single-area machine count — 6 machines across its Order Silos, Safehouses, and mission paths.

The Low Leys has 5. Grindstone of the Worthy and Dissected Plateau each carry 4+. Idolator's Noose has 4 across its Safehouses, Order Bunker, and mission sequence.
